Ace Hotel has a big Shepard Fairey wheatpaste mural thing on their construction plywood now. (Fairey's the guy behind the Andre the Giant thing + that Obama HOPE pic)

More pics at my Flickr, but a truck was parked in front so I didn't get a pic of the whole thing. A guy with a really nice camera was taking pictures so imagine searching Flickr for it will come up with something. It just went up last night/today.

I'm guessing you know about the big mural he did on the corner of Houston and 3rd... I actually saw him working on it when I walked home from work one evening. Stupid me didn't have a camera. Stupider me didn't remember that my iPhone IS a camera.

Oh cool!! About you seeing him, not forgetting the camera, heh. It's crazy, people keep tagging it, and it keeps getting fixed, and then Paul Richard added his own art, but then it was taken down/stolen.
