I try not to crosspost since but I really like my drawing for this week:

I love your characters! I wish I could draw figures like you can. I'm working on it, slowly...

I bought a mess of cheap used books on the topic on Amazon, some of which are hilariously cheesy. I should show you.

Awesome--nicely done. And bonus points for not automatically making the non-Caucasian diva Jasmine!

No she's not! She's Tiana, the Frog Princess. :D

Electronic Foot in Mouth ("Foot in Hand"?)

D'oh! I, too, mistakenly thought "Cinderella"! (I'm way out of the Disney-loop; this is the first I've seen/heard of The Princess and the Frog (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0j7EactM9s)!!!) I meekly hang my head, and quietly withdraw the bonus points...

...On a related note, though, it's nice to see Disney creating their first black princess--though (not yet having seen much of the story) I'm not sure how many princesses there were living in New Orleans in the 20s...?

It's definitely all full of controversy already and from what I've seen they've not done the most culturally sensitive job of it so far, but I'm really looking forward to it anyways. :D

I didn't actually realize that she's got the same hair/colors as Cinderella - I wonder why they did that. It's intriguing.

Alack! I am undone!

...well, of all the ways to fail, failing my Knowledge: Disneyana roll isn't the worst.

So yeah, yay black princess. Now you really can paint with all the colors of the wind.

Or, as some sort of Ford/Disney hybrid (so, pretty much Andrew Ryan) would've put it: "You can get one in any color, as long as it's princess."

DH says the paper comics pretty much to a man did Spider-man with Mickey ears. This is much better! ^_^

I've learned I should stick to making observations about which I'm completely certain -- for instance, "this drawing is totally made of win, and you kick ass for having drawn it."
