I had a nice weekend! I did some shopping on Sat, watched the Superbowl w/some coworkers & friends at the office on Sunday while building an epic Star Wars Lego, and today after work I had dinner with the visiting [livejournal.com profile] sulla! Hooray for weekend + Monday. :)

I'm selling Spice Girls tickets for the Nassau show (Uniondale, LI) on Wednesday (damn them for announcing that first and then MSG!!) so if anyone knows anyone who needs a few for this Wednesday, lemme know! :)

is it wrong to admit i'm interested? ahhh, but will my ironic love of them justify 60$ (or more) tickets?

There's no wrong reason to love Spice Girls!!

In theory I'm selling them for $60/each but if I still have one or two left tomorrow and you're willin' to swing by my work I'll let you have it for crazy cheap. heh.

oh wait! it's the long island show, n'est pas? that's a bit far to stretch my love, unfortunately.

when are they playing local?

Heh, I was wondering how you'd get out there! They're playing MSG on the 18th. Craiglist is a magical wonderland of bargaining at the moment, especially for the $100 seats.

why so expensive! why!? i'm going to see nick cave for TEN DOLLARS! that's more like it!

i'll check more into craigslist, but i'll probably sit it out. i still owe the missus $ for all the cure tickets we bought... might actually sell ministry at irving plaza tickets.

Aw, I miss the days of punk shows where people would get violently angry if the ticket was $15 or more. heh. I'm used to paying about $30+ low low Artist Arena fees for most bands I like. I truly love any band who sells tickets through Artist Arena.

i miss fugazi sometimes.

i have no idea what artist arena is, though! fortunately, a lot of the shows i see are at bowery ballroom, which charges no more than 20. i caught three great bands there (psychic tv, his name is alive, theo & the skyscrapers) last year for that cap.

Ahaahahaha Fugazi is exactly who I was thinking of when I wrote that.

Artist Arena is an alternative ticket outlet to Ticketmonster, it's what a lot of my favorite popular bands go through for pre-sales and stuff.

Totally random, have you seen this yet? http://mickmercer.livejournal.com/803851.html
