I got Viva Pinata and spent most of Fri & Sat making a garden and getting a sick amount of Achievements. It's a really cute game, I think when it comes out for the DS I'll be really addicted to it.

I was researching this thing I can't tell you about for work, and it's so much fun because it's a subject I already know a lot about. I'm really excited about it. If it all works out I will be extremely gleeful because I love the subject matter & all the project would involve.

I moved to NYC 6 years ago on Sat. I didn't really like NYC very much until I took a month off and moved back in Jan '05 though. I used to think that maybe I was just one of those people who would never like NYC, but then I moved to a neighborhood I actually like. Who can hate a neighborhood with extremely delicious cupcakes? No one, that's who.

My "hey baby! how YOU doin'?" tally is up to 7 today. I think it's because I was up early.

My daily "hbhYd?" tally rarely goes above 1 or 2. But oh man, whenever it does, there's a really odd story behind it.

Last time I got a "hbhYd?" was when I was walking on the street through a bad north shore neighborhood in Pittsburgh under a blazing noonday sun. The question in particular came from a daytime hooker (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=62115008), and was followed by the questions, "Do you have a glass of water?", "Do you have a momma?", and "Would you like me to be your momma?"

Hardly the oddest moment of mine in Pittsburgh, but someone, one of the creepier ones.

And yet, I never felt particularly intimidated by the various denizens of Pittsburgh. At least, not the same way I do with some DC or NY folks.

Like Toronto, there's something about Pittsburgh's streets that seems to suggest that real violence just isn't going to happen, and the worst that could occur is someone with an amusing Yinzer accent harranguing you with conspiracy theories about Myron Cope running a mind control device in the Point.

Magical cupcakes can be found in several locations throughout the city! Sugar Sweet Sunshine & Magnolia's cupcakes are fairly similar with their thick crazy crazy frosting made of sugar and possibly rainbows.
