anilineI'm having an exciting day. I woke up early and stood in line for the 2nd Wii shipment at Toys R Us. (Not for me, for ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
duqangee since she really really wanted one. I'll get one some time next year or something). It was hilarious, I was standing in line and hear "oh hey!" and it was my coworker, about 6 people ahead of me. aslkdjfahhahahaha! I had fun. :D I played my DS the whole time (download station!) while listening to the people behind me who were a) hilariously stupid and b) constantly bumping into me. They were from LA and were just visiting. Every time they said something incorrect I turned around and told them the right information. Like when the mom told her friend that it was illegal to buy "rated R games" if you were a kid. I explained to her the difference between a self-regulatory committee in conjunction with individual store policy as opposed to federal law, which she didn't really seem to believe. She said I was wrong because some guy at Wal-Mart wouldn't sell her kid something. I explained again about store policy vs. federal law. heh. I would have left them alone but they were being really rude to the staff, so distraction was warranted. Then the kids decided to cut in front of me while we had them in hand, but the mom & friend were still behind me. So they talked over me and basically ran around me like a maypole. The woman in front of me was laughing about the whole thing and giving me a "omgwtf?!" look of sympathy. hhahahahaa! It was good times. :D
