Plus it's talk like a pirate day, says I.
I found an article about the farewell speech Randy Pausch gave. Building Virtual Worlds was undoubtedly the most useful class I had at CMU not because of the technical skills but because of the social skills about working with idiots and/or awesome people under tight deadlines. When someone said the topic was about achieving your dreams it occurred to me that BVW probably helped me in a really large way in achieving mine. I thought this part of the article was really cool - "To honor his life and career, Electronic Arts announced it was setting up a scholarship fund for deserving female computer science majors at Carnegie Mellon."
